Chubb Expands Commitment to Agent, Broker Partners with Launch of New Resource Center to Help Them Communicate More Effectively with Successful Individuals and Families

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J., Oct. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As an extension of Chubb's ongoing commitment to helping independent agent and broker partners grow their businesses, Chubb has launched a new resource center designed to help them engage more effectively with current and prospective clients and ensure they recognize the connection between their achievements and the specialized insurance strategies available for protecting their valuable assets.

The launch of Chubb's new resource center comes on the heels of a months-long proprietary research initiative looking into how agents and brokers communicate with clients and prospects when it comes to finding the right insurance strategies to help protect their assets and lifestyle. The project, conducted in partnership with Maslansky + Partners, a language strategy firm, involved interviews with agents and brokers, as well as focus groups with successful individuals in several markets.

"One of the biggest findings from our research is the fact that successful individuals and families often do not recognize the specialized type of insurance they need, because of how they perceive their status compared to others they believe to have more," said Ori Ben-Yishai, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Chubb North America Personal Risk Services. "Our research shows that agents and brokers have a real opportunity to become a trusted partner when it comes to helping successful individuals and families protect assets, by focusing on their achievements, rather than their wealth."

Through Chubb's new resource center, agent and broker partners have full access to insights from the research, as well as actionable recommendations for how they can incorporate the findings and new language into their day-to-day business practices.

"Chubb has a long history in investing in the growth of its distribution partners, through training, recruiting, education and marketing support," said Ben-Yishai. "The research we conduct and the resources we provide are part of our overall commitment to ensuring agents and brokers are empowered to make a difference to those we serve in the marketplace."

Ben-Yishai added, "People often seek guidance from attorneys with specialties, doctors with specialties and financial planners with a specific focus. For clients who require specialized insurance coverage, seeking a knowledgeable agent or broker and specialty carrier should be no different."
