"Congratulations and thank you to all the teams that participated in Chubb Charity Challenge 2017," said Jerry Butler, Senior Vice President, Chubb Group, Division President, Field Operations, North America Insurance. "The tournament is a fun game of golf dedicated to connecting communities and expanding the work of local charities, and we are proud of its long-standing impact."

Launched in 1996, the Chubb Charity Challenge invites agents, brokers and clients to play a friendly round of golf in regional tournaments hosted by local Chubb branches. Competing on behalf of their selected charities, the winning team from each regional tournament advances to the national tournament for an all-expenses paid chance to secure a prize of $50,000 for their charities.

"Bankers Insurance is thrilled to once again participate in the annual Chubb Charity Challenge," said Marshall Fleming, President of Bankers Insurance, Glen Allen, Va. "This is an exciting event for the players, as well as for recipients of the local charitable donations. We are extremely excited to take this money home to Edmarc Hospice for Children. Just knowing the difference this type of donation would make for Edmarc, definitely helped us play as well as we did."

Chubb Charity Challenge 2017 took place November 12 – 15 at The Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Beach, California, featuring 45 teams from across the United States and Canada, each representing local charities.

"The participants in Chubb Charity Challenge deeply care about the well-being of their communities," said Butler. "We are honored to be able to bring them together to support the organizations that mean so much to them."
