PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE Westchester, the U.S.-based wholesale-focused operation of the ACE Group today announced the appointment of Jim Norman as Senior Vice President & Manager, ACE Westchester Inland Marine. Mr. Norman, who most recently served as Vice President & Chicago Regional Manager, ACE USA Inland Marine, will lead a dedicated wholesale-focused Inland Marine underwriting team. Mr. Norman will provide strategic leadership to the underwriting team, and play a critical role in cultivating new broker relationships, ensuring that distribution partners leverage ACE Westchester’s existing specialty inland marine capabilities. Mr. Norman will be based in Chicago, and report to Bruce Kessler, Division President, ACE Westchester.

With more than 25 years of insurance industry experience, Mr. Norman joined ACE in 2008 as Vice President, Inland Marine, ACE USA Midwest Region, from the Chicago-based offices of a global carrier, where he served in a variety of accounting, operations and underwriting positions across the inland marine, large account casualty, group programs and captive underwriting risk management businesses. Mr. Norman received his Bachelor of Finance degree from Illinois State University, and holds the Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) professional designation.
